What is ground school?
Ground school is designed to help a pilot learn all of the required items for a particular license or certificate and to pass the corresponding written knowledge test. Our ground school is designed to get a student done as quick as possible. Aeromastery ground school varies by the license and certificate; however, they all plan to accomplish the same goal of preparing the student to pass their written knowledge test. The ground schools are a structured "classroom" setting that promotes the growth of learning and comradery.
As of right now we plan to offer ground school classes for:
Private Pilot-----$400 *requires endorsement*
Instrument Rating-----$400 *requires endorsement*
Commercial Pilot-----$400 *requires endorsement*
Small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS/Part 107)-----$200 *this particular exam does not require an endorsement*
Ground Schools can be accomplished in a single weekend and provides you with the appropriate endorsement to take the knowledge test. In order to receive the endorsement, a student must meet certain requirements. An example of one of the requirements is to pass a practice examination with a score of 80% or higher and attend all sessions of their entirety.
An example of a Ground School Schedule could look like this:
Friday-----2 PM until 8 PM
Saturday-----9 AM until 7 PM
Sunday-----9 AM until 7 PM
*BREAKS WILL BE INCLUDED IN THIS TIME*
*This is not for a particular ground, this example is to only show what a ground school schedule could look like*
